Asean Summit 2018 - Logo Opening Animation
Brief & Challenge:
We got the brief is to create a good subtle looking and bring out the concept of Asean Summit.
Timeline: 2 weeks
By understanding the relation to economic, political & technology. I began with art direction research, I decided to go for subtle and simple design, bright background to bring out the emotion of transparency and secure. Lines and dots is a very good representative elements to showing the countries relationship and technology as well as shuttle and simple. Instead of making a simple 2D animation, I create the animation in 3D and coloured in 2D. The outcome I think is very eye refreshing.
Because Asian summit 2018 was held by Singapore, so the short story starting with a representative ball popping up from Singapore geographic map. Follow by all others 10 countries. Lines connecting all the countries. From a top view we can see all the countries connected and formed into the main logo.
