The challenge
Nowadays, finding someone who actually wants to visit a museum is rare, unless you are actually going there for a certain reason. Many reasons are behind this fact. The main reason is that visiting a museum is becoming boring for people over time, beacuse the technology is rapidly taking over all our time; and people prefer to read about some artifacts online rather than actually going to a musuem to see them, This is where Versus’ role comes. Versus aims to enhance the experience of a museum, make it more interesting, and encourage people to visit the Gayer Anderson Museum.
After having multiple of personas, we narrowed them to only 15. Documenting their journey starting from their house and in the museum and till they go back to home, covering every question, need, positive thoughts and negative thoughts as well. This helped us have a better understanding of our personas to better design them an app.
