This is a set of minimalist icons I designed in Sketch to represent the 78 cards of Tarot, 3 Joker cards, and a simple red card back.
The 82 glyphs of Unicode 6.0 Playing Cards reference the Minor Arcana and Major Arcana of theTarot Nouveau pattern used for games — not the Latin suits and trump patterns of decks commonly used for divination.

The Minor Arcana is a standard 52-card deck plus 4 Knight cards ranked between Jack and Queen. The symbol for Knight is the letter "C" for chevalier.
The Major Arcana consists of 22 cards: 21 trumps and the Fool.
Unicode also includes three jokers (black, white, and red). Jokers are extra cards commonly included with standard decks. Despite the Joker's similarities to the Fool, they are unrelated.
I use only Arabic numerals and leave out the Tarot Bourgeois trump card themes so the set is more generic and agnostic to tradition and application.
