Concept:
The concept concerns a multi-functional building, with a complex functional and spatial layout, which consists of: Primary School for intellectually handicapped children to a light degree, Primary School for children with moderate disabilities, Vocational School, School of Work Placement and Dormitory. In the transformed building, the therapy and social revalidation zone was significantly expanded. The functional program of the school has been extended to include a sports and rehabilitation zone, an indoor recreation zone and a service area. The latter is closely related to the social revalidation, it allows students to have a direct contact with society, what is of huge importance for development of children with intellectual disabilities.
