This project focused on ethical design, the topic I decided to address and create a solution for was single use plastics and its negative impact on the environment. I designed an app to raise awareness of the users plastic intake and challenge them to reduce their usage throughout the month of September. This app is aimed at university students to reduce their intake in September to start their academic year with sustainability in mind, in hopes that they continue having a more sustainable lifestyle.

CONCEPT

The user can track their daily, weekly & monthly plastic intake, you have weekly limits to stick to and if achieved you get rewards. In conjunction I created a website informing users of the impact on the environment and sustainable alternatives.
