Theodor Tobler and his wife announced this chocolate to the world in 1908. The construction of the chocolate was in this family, because Tobler's father had a candy store. In 1909, Toblerone was patented as a well-known brand of milk chocolate. Logotype revised. The packaging was minimal, typographic, for children and retro applications.
