Community Creations was a location based event in Savannah, GA. For my senior project I wanted to do something that brought people together in a fun and creative way. I decided to reach out to the community and collect drawing submissions that I would then bring to life though projection mapping. I didn't want to just have participants see their art come to life, I wanted them to be able to interact with their creations and become part of the projection as well. In order to do this, I created the compositions with enough space to allow participants to move around with the animations. I also set up a creative station with kinetic sand and drawing materials so they could see themselves create artwork on the house in real time.
