An evolution of the 787-9 Upper Class, the layout of this social zone was completely refreshed for the A330 aircraft. Key aesthetic elements extend across the two aircraft types, growing the product family and reinforcing the Virgin Atlantic brand.

To maximise impact with a reduced footprint, a more dynamic approach was taken to the surfacing. Previously only seen in high-end architecture, the bar features an industry-leading cantilever which vastly expands the lower visual area and the defined edge leads the passenger through the cabin. Sculpted upper surfaces 'fade away' to relax the space around passengers' head-height. 

The new layout afforded great opportunities to enhance Virgin Atlantic's famous onboard service. The dedicated crew zone has all amenities at arms reach for easy access without interrupting conversation.
