Elbe Sandstone Mountains
Elbe Sandstone Mountains is a region located on the northern borders of Czech Republic. It lies in between Germany and Czech Republic, forming two national parks. Bohemian Switzerland on the Czech side and Saxon Switzerland on the other one. The river Elbe runs through the region forging grandiose valleys.
I am an participant in wildlife conservation and monitoring project as it is part of my master´s thesis. Those pictures are follow up to an installation of camera trap´s network in the region. Camera traps have been a key part of the conservation toolkit for decades.
