Uncle Sargam and his Companions
'Uncle Sargam Aur Un Kay Saathi' was the first televised puppet show in Pakistan. It had gained enough fame that its characters had become household names throughout the country. The show spread awareness nationwide about topics such as sexual harassment, drug abuse, HIV and AIDS etc through light-hearted conversations. I feel like it is the need of the time to revive these characters and make them continue the the good work the did in the past. This I did by making comics of the show including the poetry the character spoke at the end of each episode and publishing them in the daily newspaper.
