Marconi Art on Emirates Skywards Platinum Card

The Emirates Skywards & a Marconi Art
Emirates Skywards, the airline’s award-winning frequent flyer programme launched new designs for its membership cards back in 2016 and 2017 respectively. Each of the four cards features winning designs from aspiring artists from around the globe and one of them is Marconi Calindas' depiction of the iconic luxury hotel Burj Al Arab.
For two consecutive years, 2016 and 2017, Emirates used Marconi Calindas' art for its Platinum Skywards Membership Card.
"The Art of Travel programme has continually engaged young artists worldwide in an annual competition to feature their artwork on the four Emirates Skywards membership cards: Blue, Gold, Silver, and Platinum."

Emirates Welcome Aboard video also shows Marconi's winning art piece.
Out of thousands of artists from around the world, two of Marconi's art works were shortlisted among 16 entries. Emirates, then left the voting to over 80,000 Skywards members.
The original art piece was painted with a blue background and was later modified for the Platinum Membership Card. For 2017, Emirates had minor modifications on Marconi's art.
