Sequence is a magazine for young writers in their early 20s who want to develop their writing and stay inspired. The audience is creative, educated and current. The branding and the layout for the magazine was intended to appear smart and literary, hence the prominent use of serif fonts and the balanced, refined typographic approach. Meanwhile, the photography and illustration was planned to appear playful, bold, and engaging in order to reinforce the inspiring tone of the magazine and to appeal to a young audience.
