EIGHTIES DESIGN PUBLICATION
This experimental publication developed as a project from my written dissertation titled, ‘What is the impact of eighties design on the contemporary design world?’. I chose a typically eighties minimal palette and design typographic statements, compositions and design motifs that gave a nod to the decade and would generate nostalgia when read. This publication was custom size to fit into a presentation VCR case as a novelty touch, and included many elements including smaller page inserts and page fold outs. The imagery designed, revolved around the three main chapter themes, such as, art movements, technology of the decade and science fiction cinematography.
