When brainstorming for our holiday giveaways we bounce around quite a few ideas. This particular year we decided we wanted to be slightly more practical. It seemed that quite often our clients would be completely confused on the colors we were talking about. We would send them color chips but then we would always hear the "that's not how it looks on my screen" back. So, we decided to nip the problem in the bud, and what better way then to have them on the same page from the get go. We repackaged Pantone color bridge books with some witty copy, re shrink wrapped them, put them in a slip case and sent them out in bright red metallic envelopes. We haven't had as many color problems since then, a win in my book. We even started using them as a new client gift as well, so we could start things off on the right foot.
