airSense is a smart solution for monitoring indoor workplace environments to identify the factors that may adversely affect the health and performance of employees such as temperature, humidity, particulate matters, noise, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and other gases.

The solution can operate in manual mode where the HSE manager will receive notifications via email or mobile app notifications and act upon the warnings received; or in automated mode where airSense will send command(s) to other smart devices connected to it without the need for human interaction.

The system's hardware part consists of a gateway (main device) and nodes (sub-devices). Software part consists of local dashboard for data visualisation, mobile applications for remote monitoring and controlling, local database to store short-term data, and database to store long-term data which depends on Google Cloud Platform, mainly BigQuery.
