Revery is a rock band with strong soul & funk influences from Johannesburg, South Africa.
Their name 'Revery' means to be lost in one's dream. While Firebird is the Croatian name for the phoenix in Slavic mythology.
The painstakingly detailed illustration of the humming bird on the album cover represents Richard's (guitarist) intricate guitar solo's and the bands perfectionism in their music.
The Firebird does not take the form of a phoenix in the traditional sense but rather takes on the form of a humming bird, whose courage burns deep within its brave little heart.
