Yakoob scripted and produced numerous radio commercials in multiple languages. While Creative Director of Radio and Languages with Lowe Lintas India, Yakoob created a record of winning more than 30 awards for his radio commercials from RAPA (Radio Advertisers & Practitioners' Association), Mumbai. His innovative commercials for Rin, Wheel, Lifebuoy, Fair & Lovely, Vim and others raised the bar for creativity in Indian radio advertising.
