Laundromat Re-branding, AUT

Re-branding project from year 2 Graphic Design, AUT.

As graphic designers we often focus on the visual side of communication.
Given a brief, we are tasked with translating our client’s ideas or stories into engaging and meaningful messages. However, we are often absent from the start of the process. The part where the story, ethos and emotion of our clients business is born. The branding side of things.
Thus, the brief asked us to chose a local business in need of a new visual identity, and develop a unique brand through in-depth research and understanding of the values and goals of the client. Furthermore, we researched into brand design to get a better understanding of the branding process in order to help the client better understand their own goals, and thus develop a clearer brief and better design solutions.
The final output for this project was a designed style-guide and supporting collateral.

Style-guide was hand-bound by me.
