Colors and geometries
The project consists in the creation of a corporate image for the exhibition about Étienne Robial at Anatome Milano.
An analysis of the designer's works shows his visual languages: geometric shapes and pure colors become the fulcrum on which I builded the project, in order to communicate the soul of Robial in an essential and comprehensive way at the same time.

These elements were then reworked into a new visual system: the rectangles become irregular shapes, almost in perspective, while the traparent pure colors are enhanced by the white background. Typography, involved in the movement of the elements, breaks the composition and makes it more dynamic.

The poster shows the visual image of the exhibition. Were added other graphical elements to insert additional information and to balance the composition.

The 16-page signature of the exhibition is an artifact through which the visitor can enter directly in contact with Étienne Robial and his graphic style. It is a narration composed with a strong and expressive visual language developed on double pages, each of which shows a face of the particular Robial's style.

The invitation is like the business card of an exhibition: it must intrigue the addressee, in order to attract him and stimulate him to visit the gallery.
In this case it is a sort of origami: the folds allow it to act itself as envelope, when it is closed.
The folds are highlighted by geometric fields of color, in line with the style of Étienne Robial.

The press kit has the duty to communicate the exhibit to the media.
This time the visual image of the exhibition is extended on the back of the folder and the polygonal shapes are recalled even inside. The folder contains a copy of the press release about the opening of the exhibition and a CD containing the works displayed in the gallery.

The arrangement and size of the elements vary in the banner, due to the long and narrow format of the support. Nevertheless the geometrical shapes are not forced into the canvas but them are ideally extend beyond the limits of the banner.
