This project is a study of visual communication using only black and white colors, and experimenting using lights and shadow. The illustrated comic book depicts a fictional universe where aliens send a spaceship to earth. They dispatch parasites who feed on animals which are further used to attach humans. These humans transform into ferocious creatures only to be summoned back to the spaceship and recruited for an unknown purpose.
This was a really interesting and fun assignment we did in the art school for the illustration elective. Our professor tossed 12 folded chits with different animals written on each of them like a cat, dog or a hen. I picked up on that had a cat in it. Now the second step was to spend a day with the animal or bird that u have received (for study purposes). I realized that the day I spent observing cats, they don't really like being followed. And as soon as they figured out that they were being followed or observed, they found a way to evade me. Third step was to create a four paged comic out of our information that we had collected. So I created a comic based on my observation about how cats are actually beings of some other reality.
