Lithograph 2: The Forest Sylph

Lithograph 2: The Forest Sylph
The beginnings: Imagining the Tusche

Stone Lithography is a very spiritual and a cleansing experience.
Second Day: The more you know

The more time I spend with a stone, freehand the darker it becomes. And the lighter my burden of imagined demons exhausted.
Third Day: Someone else is here

By now, the image has left for somewhere else completely. This is another land, another realm now. The sylph is a spirit of air, here she is grounded by the heaviness of earth. Her birds sing for her.
Pat, Powder and Moisturise: Preserving the Stone
The Devil is in the Details: Salvation for your stone
