“El Happy Mundo” is a body of work created for a show about belonging and lost innocence, about picture-perfectness and lurking fears. The ingenuousness of the beautiful fabric "Kitties" inhabiting "La-La Land" was contrasted by humorous mixed media sculptures dealing with our very human fears of not belonging and not having enough.
