As VR·AR content increased, HMD was released in various companies such as HoloLens, gear VR, HTC Vive, Google Daydream, Sony's PlayStation VR and so on. Now the regrettable part of HMD has high volume and also heavy. So when carrying it everyday life there are constraints of very difficult place to take around.
PRISM proposed a conceptual design of the second-generation HMD to complement the disadvantages of the first-generation HMD. It is designed small and light enough to be used like a headset. It can be used in headset mode or MR mode depending on the situation. The PRISM is always available in everyday life and may be more familiar to consumers who are still unfamiliar with the HMD.
