Daniel - I livened it up a bit by adding a full page photo in the background (of the Pitchfork Music Festival). I gave each call to action equal weight by moving them side by side. I also removed the word "Pitchfork" from the H1. This seemed redundant and not necessary as you probably already know you are on pitchfork.com
Alex - Using autofill because Nike.com ask for so many details...
Ashley -  Its love tips for flamingos.  But they can select the frequency of their love tips, so its not all bad.
Blaise - For the kids... I opted for a conversational approach rather than radio buttons. The options in the dropdown would be Hot links from Pitchfork, The Sunday Review, or both. Also giving a quick link to review what the latest edition looks like because nobody likes getting junk. And emojis because that seems like something the kids would like...
