Animal Sanctuary Branding & Campaign

Collon Animal Sanctuary is an animal shelter based in Collon Co. Louth. The organisation is dedicated to the care and rehoming of many animals. The organisation needed a new logo, colour scheme, merchandise and a simple campaign to show the importance and positive aspects of pet ownership.
The logo is a set of sixteen various animal heads. The logo idea was created from having an interactive stand at the sanctuary. I set up a stand were visitors to the sanctuary could make finger print designs based on their favourite animal in the sanctuary. From the visitors illustrations, I decided to design my own set of sixteen finger print illustrations for the sanctuaries logo. The illustrations were then placed on bags, t-shirts, and on the stationary. The main logo is a set of three heads floating above the name of the sanctuary in lower case text. I chose the orange colour scheme because alot of the animals that I photographed in the sanctuary had shades of orange throughout their fur.

The care package was designed for new pet owners when taking home their pet from the shelter. The care package includes the branding outside and inside holds a blanket, tin of food, a toy, a pet passport which the new owner can use to record photos on the first six months of the pets life in its new home and a booklet on the organisation and how to donate.
My photography. All photos were taken by myself of the animals while I visited the sanctuary.
