The concept of the interface was to stay away from traditional mobile ui's. The horizontal orientation is used because the user would be using the smartphone attatched to his arm.
This is an example of quick prototyping on how the user would interact with exersice packs within the application. This interface iteration was not used in the final design.

Gamification was used in order to create engagement between the user and the product. There where levels created which might not be visible for the user as well as potential "game changers" which could have been treated as challenges.
