Heavy Reggie – a typeface inspired by decorative fonts of the 60s and 70s, created using a semi-modular system.
Heavy Reggie version one (below) was hand-drawn using a modular grid system, scanned, and cleaned up in Illustrator, giving it a friendly, rough-around-the-edges character. Version two (above) was created using shapes and a grid system in Illustrator to replicate the original hand-drawn lettering. The fresh font comes with a new S, full punctuation, numerals, and characters/accents allowing the typeface to be used in most Roman alphabet-based languages.
