“Make each day a new horizon.”
― Christopher McCandless
Leaving behind his material life in 1990, Chris McCandless started a journey across the vastness of the United States. He took little with him on this adventure. Crossing several borders, he even found his way into Mexico on a canoe. At long last, after momentous travel, he found himself in the solace of Alaska. For three months, he lived by himself and for himself. Chris passed away in 1992 having gone into the wild.

This project takes us across Chris' voyage, each of the 19 doors commemorating another milestone - a testament to a life lived in a profound appreciation of one's own nature.

This design seeks to understand evolution - every next door yet another step in our understanding of a greater truth as we rise to be one with the earth around us.
