Aerospace pioneer AIRBUS approached Germany-based photographer Wolfram Schroll with a deceptively simple project. He was asked to capture “innovation” at work in different labs, looking at research projects that they're involved in across Europe. The images were used in an “Innovation Report” brochure, demonstrating the projects taking place across Airbus’ labs.

A year after Wolfram’s initial involvement, ARTS (Aircraft Related Technical Services), a frequent collaborator with Airbus, featured 12 images from the series in a calendar project supporting their “expertise4innovations” campaign.

The images featured in the calendar will correspond to monthly blog posts created by ARTS, highlighting the research and innovation taking place in each location featured in the calendar image.
