The purpose of this satellite exhibit was to get people in Philadelphia out of the city and back in to nature. It would theoretically be placed on the green space of Dillworth Park to invite passerby to enter inside the sculptural piece to explore what it contains. This exhibition houses informative panels that expose the intricate work that has to be done in order to create Longwood Garden’s fantastic Chrysanthemum Festival. The structure itself reflects the main attraction: the Thousand Bloom Mum.
