This is a work created for a module called "Tactile Design". The assignment required us to create a 3D sculpture in tribute to a graphic designer/ artist using materials from scratch.
I decided to do on Uzumaki by Ito Junji, a famous horror manga artist. This is because he has always been a huge inspiration in my illustrations.
I documented my entire journey from ideation to development and even the final execution, in a journal which I was required to submit. I am very glad that even Ito Junji himself has expressed pride and liking towards my creation on Twitter, which was shown when he retweeted and liked the tweet shown above.
