This chopping board is designed for outdoor cooking.For a style of cooking that requires flexibility, compactness and ease of use,I developed an origami-inspired cutting board.
Work areas separated - row food and cooked food
It is composed of polypropylene with creased fold lines. These allow for the creation of separate work areas – one for raw food and one for cooked. Red and green ‘zip-lock’ circles fix the planes of the board in place when it is folded. The colors assist with the folding process, and also identify the two different zones (red for raw food, green for cooked food) in the interests of food hygiene.

The origami-like Outdoor Chopping Board was designed to fold up to one-eighth its size. When unfolded, the board can be cleaned easily. When folded, it can be conveniently stored and transported. It can be hung up using the straining holes.
The board can also be folded into a strainer with which to wash vegetables. Furthermore, it makes a convenient pourer for the transfer of chopped food into a saucepan.
