This is a project dedicated to my two grandmothers. I would have loved to see them when I graduated from College, but since they couldn't see their granddaughter reaching her goal, I honor them with these illustrations. I hope they're watching me from heaven feeling proud of me.
My grandma Elsa (Mom's momma); her heart was so big she gave love to 10 kids, a dog named Princess and more than 20 grandchildren and great-grand children, everything in her own way.
My grandma Marciana (yes, world's weirdest name); her love was reflected in every meal she gave to us, every story she told, every pet she let me have in her house but her best love act was giving me my Dad.
