Kintsugi (金継ぎ), also known as Kintsukuroi (金繕い), is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.
L'albero dei cambiamenti project aims to promote family mediation as an instrument to allow former spouses to continue to be good parents despite the separation. So, when they contacted me to help them spread the word with a motion graphics video, we thought this could be a good metaphor to get the job done!
