Hi There, and welcome to VA Innovations. This is the business name I made up for myself.

Vlad Adam Innovations was a bit long and did not really roll off the tongue as smoothly as I would have liked. Thus VA Innovations was created. 

 

If your reading this, you’re probably thinking why would I put my own branding up on my page, and lets face, it if you weren’t thinking that I just made you think it. The answer to that question is two parts long. 

Firstly it is a known fact that doing anything for yourself is harder then doing it for a client or friend (eg: servicing your own car, washing your own clothes, making your own meals, finding your own girlfriend…too far?) Especially if you are a perfectionist/deep thinker, like yours truly.

Secondly I have not come across a client that has been able to afford a full branding package.

 

If you need more justification, than that I'm sorry but your not going to get it, and that is the bottom line, since I said so "Stone Cold Steve Austin"

In this logo I have incorporated a lot of my heritage and history, I did a lot of research into my name, what it means and where it is from. I learned a lot about myself like that Vlad was a Romanian Emperor many moons ago, he was considered the first Dracula, and that amongst other things he enjoyed impaling people. From that I thought a crown would be appropriate, to try and incorporate into the logo.

 

One of the reasons I chose Magenta was for 5 years I had a Magenta R33 Nissan Skyline, which everyone in my state knew me for. This was another aspect that I though should definitely make it into the logo. Finally I do have experience as a 3D designer so to put the cherry on the cake I made a version of the logo, which is 3D.

 

The motto I came up with after I had heard "the innovators not the imitators" on the radio, was “Be Bold, Be Unique, Be Seen”. You can see this repeated over and over and over again throughout my business cards, website and anything with my branding on it. 

 

Finally for T-shirts and a Watermark I could not think of anything more narcissistic then VA Approved, where if it is not VA Approved it is not worth the second glace.
