The Brief
OrangeCloud computing provides cloud computing services i.e the practice of using a network of remote servers hosted on the internet to store, manage, and process data, rather than a local server or a personal computer.
They required a new logo and the requirements were that the logo should be clean and designed on par with other leading cloud computing companies.

The Process
I began by looking at what other cloud computing companies logo's looked like - since the logo needed to be on par with them. I then began sketching out ideas and playing around with them.
Once I found a design that seemed like it could be refined, I started to neaten it up and use more refined shapes.

The Solution
I was able to design a logo that was clean and on par with other cloud computing companies logo's. The thinking behind the logo is that since the company is called "Orange Cloud Computing", I took the first letters of each word and used their forms to create the logo's elements.
So the "O" for "Orange, "C" for "Cloud" & "C" for "Computing" can all be seen in the mark.

Once the logo was refined to this point, I scanned it in and began to digitise the mark.
After the mark had been fully digitised, and was successful as a monochromatic element, I played around with some colour options and added in the typography.
