Newspaper Broadside

At the conclusion of every program abroad in London, we produce a broadside to document the experience of the participants. The format is a digital tabloid newspaper. Everyone receives 4 pages (2 spreads) to interpret as they wish — the constraint being you cannot deviate from the template. Your spreads are not an exercise in scrapbooking, but rather an opportunity to leverage a sophisticated concept served by your newly enhanced knowledge.

I chose to talk about the food I experienced in London because it was something that helped me adjust to a new culture. I began to really expand my taste palette and I feel that by doing this I became comfortable in my new environment. I also found a new love for the taste of coffee, which I also discussed in my broadside. I placed photos of myself and some of the delicious food I enjoyed while being abroad.
