After eight successful years as a youthful and fun-loving brand with a strong focus on conversational figures in ceramic form, the Canadian company immLiving sought to explore a new design direction that found inspiration in simpler, bolder, modernist shapes and silhouettes. Aesthetic Movement created a collection for key retailers that drew upon rich color palettes, varied textures, and statement pieces with a nod towards abstraction. The collection’s name paid homage to the year that immLiving's founder immigrated from Hong King to Vancouver –– 1993.
