Talos Creative created this animated teaser trailer to help promote the launch of a series of fantasy novels. Below you can see the making of/shot breakdown.

Below are the concept designs for the featured characters for this teaser.

For the wizard, scan data was used for the base head model which was then sculpted into the desired final look. Ornatrix was used for the facial hair.

Final compositing and effects were created in Blackmagic Design's Fusion and Davinchi Resolve.

Some rock assets from Megascans was used to help build this small diorama style set for the overlord characters scenes.
