To reach readers across the galaxy, the stories in Overedge magazine is also avalible online. The website is designed and coded to be responsive and to serve the identity of the magazine across channels.
A value proposition canvas was used to find the best solutions, the needs and pain points of the target audience. Emotional design considerations where also used through the process.
Some key points used during development.
- Overedge should be considered to be a serious publisher of good fiction.
- The tone of voice should mirror the adult and serious tone from the magazine.
- A neutral color palette gives the illustrations the power to shine.
- Good illustrations draws the readers into the story
- Info about how long it would take to read each essay or article gives users the opurtunity to find the right article or essay for the time they have avalible.
