Project Brief: Wayfair Professional has an annual Tastemaker Awards competition and needed a redesign for the 2018 launch. The overall goal of the page is to encourage more Wayfair Professional users to enter the competition.
Research & Deliverables: competitive analysis, wireframes, high-fidelity mocks
Project Summary: I conducted a competitive analysis of other landing pages for design inspiration and to inform the information hierarchy on the page. I worked closely with another designer and content strategist on the team to determine the content and design direction that would best meet the goals of the page,with the end result being more prominent judges and prizes sections to draw entrants in while balancing important information entrants needed to see. This project entailed close collaboration with the Marketing Creative team who created the assets (photographs, banner, animated icons). On the product design side, we made sure the overall page design showcased the content in the best light while meeting user and business goals.
