Background:
InterContinental Hotels and Resorts has developed a series of stories at it's key destinations focusing on unique experiences, history and heritage. The original videos centre around the campaign idea that 'We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us'. The social videos versions take viewers on a multi-sensory journey into the InterContinental life, and allow them to discover stories that excite their curiosity, broaden their minds, and take their imagination to places you’d never expect.
The brief
InterContinental Hotels & Resorts had a number of long form brand videos and TV commercials that they needed adapted for Instagram and mobile consumption.
My edit work
I transform their existing assets into compelling ads for Instagram stories and Instagram feed. The adaptations maintained the mood and style of the original content, while being optimised for the Instagram platform and mobile devices.
The results
The content has received over 5 Millions Views with Average Video View Rate 35% (industry benchmark 20%).
