"Össztűz" – Agárd
This "Össztűz" project has been realized in Agárd – Hungary at the Velencei Lake.
After a month of design and preparation time, the temporary sculpture was built of small bricks and chunk wood, without any binder. My students at the Budapest Metropolitan University got this task as a University special project, where they worked out all the details based on models and real size experiments until the final sculpture was born. The nine ladies moved 40 metric tons of bricks within the two days building workshop, which was organised within the frames of VI. Velencei-tavi Hal-, Bor-, Vad- és Pálinka Festival.
After the happening the 6400 pcs. of bricks where offered for local helping organisations, to build chimneys and fireplaces for people in need.
