Black and White - Emotion in Photography

This image shows that even though bad things are happening, they still believe something good might happen in the future.



Why are the bottles tied up by strings?



Dandelions are usually in a group, but this particular dandelion is alone. 



People tend to reminiscence on things and for example this bench where they've met and enjoy conversations, but now is empty which suggest sadness.



Could this sign be the SIGN?



When you're trying to find a place in this world, but you ended up in a dead end. 



This picture shows the flower bright despite it being surrounded with things twice it's size; hope.



1.    How does B&W change the emotional content in images?
How it changes is things that are usually convey in a more happy images, the ambiance and atmosphere can be seen. Black and White pictures can interpret many stories behind the picture. 

2.    Do you feel that B&W is more challenging than color photography? Explain.
3.    What did you learn or refine from this assignment?
I think depending on the angle you take the picture can definitely affect who emotions in black and white picture is interpreted. 

4.    How can this assignment be improved in the future?
I don't really know what to improve because you can just take pictures of random subjects and can still somehow explain why this particular picture shows emotions.
