'A portrait' is an insight into myself, through the story of objects and a space that is very close to me.
The photographed space is the room I stay in at college. It is a space that has seen the best and worst in me, my highs and lows. Although it is filled to the brim with memories, the space remains unchanging. It was important to capture the space in low-light as that is almost always its natural state - very dimly lit. It also portrays my mood the most of the time I am in the room - bleak, with a few fleeting smiles.

The next images in the series is a portrayal of the first of a personal experience or memory, told through objects that played a significant role in the memory.
