More plastic was produced over the last 10 years than during the entire 20th century and about half of the plastic bags were used only once and thrown away immediately. Plastic kills 100,000 marine animals each year. My audience was moms who typically buy groceries in large quantities. Many moms love to spend the day at a beach during the summer with their children, so I designed reusable bags that can fold into a travel size. This way, it would be easier for them to put the travel size bags in their purse rather than carrying it around.
