Black Heritage Month - Kroger Activation and Program
To commemorate Black History Month every February, Kroger celebrates African-Americans with their 10-year-old, Black Heritage Month program. The theme for this program was “achieving dreams.” A collage of portraits invited the viewer to feel welcome and connected to inspiring members of the Black community, at large. Queen Latifah, Chef G, and other notable individuals showcased their stories, complete with obstacles and triumphs. Kroger’s program also encouraged people to get involved by sharing their own stories in a contest, which offered a chance to win a prize to help them achieve their goals.
