Shooting soap bubbles
This was a study on photographing the iridescent turbulence on a soap film surface. The shooting was very difficult as the most interesting patterns happen just before the surface breaks. Focusing was also very taunting as the dof was ultrashallow (even with F/22) and some patterns on the surface aren't sharp at all which creates the illusion of being out of focus.
