In my videos I always loved searching new ways to produce sounds, in fact we are surrounded by so many sounds, it can be a bird whistling, the sound of the wind or even you playing drums with you fingers on a table.

I also thought it would be interesting to see what I could do with my body, since a majority of us only play with our voice or in claping in your hands.
And I've got to admit Diego Stocco is a great source of inspiration concerning new way to get sounds, so I decided to get a stethoscope on eBay and tried to see what I could get when I punched my chest with this great resonnant part we call ribcage.

So here's the stethoscope I used in the video with the Rode NT5 microphone with is a very precise and clean one, it was perfect for the job.
As I do for my other videos, I followed the videoSong rules, for those who aren't familiar with them, here it is :

1. What you see is what you hear (no lip-syncing for instruments or voice).
2. If you hear it, at some point you see it (no hidden sounds).

I also had to record my video and the sound at the same time. Then I mixed up the whole song in Logic, I just play with compression, EQ and reverb, the aim for this video was to hear body sounds only, no computer instruments.

So here's how Final Cut looked like when I finished to copy past my videos to sync them up with the sound :
Then it took a few minutes to upload the video on YouTube (thank you countryside and your 512K...)

And here's the result!

Please enjoy
