The tragic story of a love triangle gone wrong...
Process
This editorial was about this woman who dressed up as a clown to kill her husband’s ex-wife, and wasn’t caught by the authorities until 27 years later. So the idea was to draw her holding a gun but I felt it was too obvious, so I changed it one of her holding a sign as she’s taking her mug shot in her clown costume, which I feel is more subtle and, frankly, more humorous. I drew her with Procreate and later edited the spread in InDesign.
